Student Leadership and Engagement offers a series of workshops in the areas of student organization development, team building, conflict resolution, time management, diversity, and much more! These workshops are designed primarily for students, learning communities, and clubs and organizations to gain new skills and perspectives, while helping achieve their goals.
Guidelines for On-Demand Workshops:
- Minimum of 10 participants in attendance
- Workshops are requested at least 2 weeks in advance
- Workshops must be scheduled between the hours of 8:00am - 8:00pm
- Please notify our office 48 hours in advance of any cancellations

There are 168 hours each week. With classes, activities, studying, and free time, planning becomes an essential tool to get things done. This workshop will discuss time management, priority management, and goal setting.

Effective and efficient meetings will keep your organization on track and encourage your members to keep coming back. This program will provide tips for setting the agenda, meeting procedures, interacting with participants, and following up.

This workshop will provide methods and activities that can help participants effectively manage conflict and deal with difficult people in your group. They will also learn about elements, causes, and ways to resolve both negative and positive forms of conflict.
Transitioning Student Organization Executive Boards
The process of transitioning officers is one of the most crucial elements for a student organization. Learn about the necessary steps and resources to ensure your new executive board is prepared to take the reins and continue momentum for the year ahead.
Professionalism and Etiquette
Working in an office or any professional setting requires employees to meet performance and behavior standards. Learn the skills needed to become a high performing, valued, and trusted employee. Professional etiquette can be applied to many area's of an individual's work life, including emails, phone calls, and business meetings.
In building relationships with members of your organization or team, you help others to connect and recognize how personality plays a role in the overall effectiveness of your team. Using the True Colors assessment tool, this interactive workshop will look at ways personality affects relationships and work styles, and provide suggestions for using these tools to create a team that works collaboratively based on individual assets.
Teambuilding is critical to the success of any group that must work together. This interactive workshop will cover the appropriate sequencing of how a team develops and the basic tolls needed to engance teamwork.
