Week of Welcome at Buffalo State University is a series of programs hosted by student organizations and the campus community to welcome our students during the first week of the semester! All Week of Welcome events are free and open to all students.
Fall 2026 Week of Welcome Schedule
Donuts with the Dean's Team | 9:00am - 11:00am, Student Union Lobby
Stop by the Student Union on your way to classes for a donut and some coffee and meet the staff under the Dean of Students' area!
155ft of Nachos | 11:30am - 1:00pm, Plaza
All students are welcomed to grab free nachos during week of welcome! There will be 155ft of nachos to celebrate 155 years of Buffalo State!
Karaoke Night | 6:00pm - 8:00pm, Student Union Lobby
Looking to sing along to one of your favorite song? Or maybe share some spoken word? Come by the Student Union for our karaoke night and claim the spotlight!
Part-Time Internship and Job Fair | 12:00pm - 1:30pm, Plaza
Looking for a part-time job or internship? Join the Career and Professional Education (CAPE) Office to explore various opportunities. Free ice cream will be available to all students!
Welcome Back Bingo | 5:30pm - 7:00pm, Campbell Student Union Social Hall
