About Us
Student Leadership and Engagement is committed to an inclusive student centered environment that creates educational experiences for students which promote leadership, involvement, learning, and success. Our office collaborates with students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community leaders to provide innovative and purposeful programs to prepare students for a diverse and changing world.
Campus Activities
Student Leadership hosts and supports multiple campus programs throughout the year! Major campus events include Week of Welcome (WOW), Homecoming, Bengals After Dark, and Pride Week. Some of our past events include laser tag, casino night, hypnotists, karaoke nights, paint and sips, and more!
Student Organizations
Student Leadership and Engagement supports more than 70 student organizations on campus. Our office registers all student organizations and oversees the recognition process for all new student organizations who wish to be affiliated with the college.
Greek Life
Greek Life at Buffalo State is dedicated to enhancing the development of students through membership in our Greek organizations. Each fraternity and sorority offer students an opportunity to be part of a close-knit community that promotes leadership, service, and academic excellence. Buffalo State currently recognizes 4 fraternities and 8 sororities.
Campbell Student Union
The mission of the Campbell Student Union is to enhance the overall student experience by fostering a vibrant, inclusive, and supportive campus community. It aims to serve as a central hub where students can engage in social, cultural, academic, and recreational activities that enrich their college life. By advocating for student interests and providing essential resources, the student union seeks to empower individuals and groups, promoting personal growth, leadership development, and a sense of belonging.
