Student Organizations
Buffalo State recognizes that student organizations are an important part of the college experience. The learning experiences that are gained from being in a student organization complement the college’s commitment to the intellectual, personal, and professional growth of its students. Student organizations enhance the co-curricular education of Buffalo State students to empower them to succeed and are charged with providing meaningful, fulfilling, and culturally enriching contributions to the campus community.
Student Leadership and Engagement supports more than 70 student organizations on campus. Our office registers all student organizations and oversees the recognition process for all new student organizations who wish to be affiliated with the college. We offer numerous services to all student organizations including advisement, co-sponsorship opportunities, space reservations, and leadership development.

How to Series w/SLE
The "How To Series with SLE" is a leadership development opportunity for our student organizations to engage in best practices when it comes to hosting events, combatting conflicts, electing a new executive board, and the many other components that come with being a student organization. We hope that these "How To" sessions provide a space for our student leaders to engage in thoughtful and purposeful content to best support their needs and wants of not only their student organization, but the population of our students at Buffalo State University. This schedule will be regularly updated by semester.
