Buffalo State is aware of the importance of providing a plan for a safe restart of on-campus operations when the fall semester begins on August 31, 2020. This is why Student Leadership and Engagement has provided a list of protocols meant to provide guidance to Buffalo State College’s student organizations as we work to limit population density and promote physical distancing measures for the health and safety of our Bengal community.

Buffalo State recognizes that student organizations are an important part of the college experience. The learning experiences that are gained from being in a student organization complement the college’s commitment to the intellectual, personal, and professional growth of its students. Student organizations enhance the co-curricular education of Buffalo State students to empower them to succeed and are charged with providing meaningful, fulfilling, and culturally enriching contributions to the campus community.
Student Leadership and Engagement supports more than 70 student organizations on campus. Our office registers all student organizations and oversees the recognition process for all new student organizations who wish to be affiliated with the college. We offer numerous services to all student organizations including advisement, co-sponsorship opportunities, space reservations, and leadership development.
