Get Involved with Fraternity and Sorority Life!

Buffalo State recognizes that membership and new member recruitment is an essential component of the Fraternity and Sorority experience. For chapters to survive, they must continually recruit new members. It is the expectation of each Fraternity and Sorority to enhance the experience of each new/prospective member by providing membership education programming that meets college requirements.

All recognized fraternities and sororities must follow Buffalo State's Recruitment and New Member Education Protocols.

Greek Life Interest Meeting #1 9/2/2025 12:00pm 1:00pm CSU 404 All students interested in joining a Fraternity or Sorority must attend one of the Greek Interest Meetings prior to joining.
CPC (College Panhellenic Conference) Round Robin 9/2/2025 5:00pm 6:00pm Bacon 204, 205, 223 Round Robin allow potential new members (PNM's) to meet with the sororities a part of CPC! CPC includes Sigma Delta Tau, Alpha Epsilon Phi and delta Delta Phi Zeta!
Greek Weekend: QPR/Substance Use & Abuse Training 9/4/2025 5:00pm 6:00pm CSU 105  Join FSL and the Weigel Health Center in a suicide prevention (QPR) training and to discuss substance use and abuse! 

Greek Weekend: Fraternity & Sorority Life Member Development Day (Greek Life Mandatory Training) 

 9/5/2025 3:00pm 5:00pm Assembly Hall This training is required for all fraternities and sororities to attend. Information will include campus policies and procedures, including Title IX and Title IV.

Greek Weekend: Meet the Greeks 9/5/2025 6:00pm 8:00pm Bengal Quad

Interested students can come and meet recognized fraternities and sororities! Get information, talk with our Greeks and enjoy some music and games! 
Greek Weekend: Getting Hygee With It  9/6/2025 12:00pm 2:00pm Houston Gym Room 125 Join SLE, HESAA and the GAC for a Yoga and Mindfulness style event with Meditation, Yoga, and Sound Healing.

Trunk or Treat with the Greeks! 10/30/2025 10:00am 12:00pm Parking Lot R-12 Join Fraternities and Sororities and USG in passing out candy for Halloween and receiving wellness tips from the Weigel Health Center for commuter students!
