Bengal Stripes Leadership Program
The Bengal Stripes Leadership Program seeks to prepare students for college and develop the essential skills necessary to be personally, professionally, and academically successful at Buffalo State College and beyond. This is accomplished through education, development, and training students in a series of workshops, personal development programs, civic engagement, and active engagement with the college and community.
Students are welcome to take the workshops in any order at any time that fits their schedule. However, badges will only be awarded when the student has completed the required journal entries and action items.
Students that have completed the certificate program will be honored at the Dean of Students annual Bengal Banquet.
The program will adopt a hybrid learning model in which workshops will take place both in person in the Bengal Stripes Learning Lab (Campbell 419) and online via Blackboard. All workshops are free and open to all Buffalo State College students.
Please contact Student Leadership and Engagement at (716) 878-4631 or firstname.lastname@example.org for any questions or to request more information on the program.
