Each student that enrolls in the Bengal Stripes Leadership program will be required to select a track to complement the core material. Selection of the track wil be based on interests of the student and what outcomes they have in the completion of the program. Students will select their track in their enrollment application as well as in their advisement session with Student Leadership and Engagement. Each track will comprised of two workshops taught by campus stakeholders with expertise in that area.
If you want to use your leaderships skills to impact social justice issues in the community, like housing, food security, environment, or education, the Civic and Community Engagement track might be right for you. You’ll explore the root causes of community issues and learn the tools to organize, act, and advocate for change in your community.
