Welcome First-Year Students!
The Student Leadership and Engagement Office is excited to welcome you to Buffalo State!
Our Student Leadership and Engagement Office has designed an orientation for new students who will be attending Buffalo State that provides programs, events, and information, which create a common experience and promote school spirit by connecting students to each other and fostering learning and development both in and out of the classroom.
Further information regarding registering for the upcoming January 2020 orientation will be available in the near future.
The January First-Year Orientation program is one day program. Commuter students will commute to orientation and residential students will stay in their assigned rooms.
International students will attend a multi-day orientation. For information regarding your orientation program please click here to visit the International Student and Scholar Services office.
Please view the costs section of the website for information. The Orientation charge cannot be waived.
Reminder: The $125 tuition deposit, applied to your tuition bill, is separate from the cost of your orientation.
It is important that First-Year students register for orientation and submit their Weigel Health Forms as soon as possible. After submitting the Intent to Enroll deposit, registering for orientation and submitting your health records and academic adviser will develop your fall semester class schedule.
