Welcome First-Year Students!
The Student Leadership and Engagement Office is excited to welcome you to Buffalo State!
Our Student Leadership and Engagement Office has designed an orientation for new students who will be attending Buffalo State that provides programs, events, and information, which create a common experience and promote school spirit by connecting students to each other and fostering learning and development both in and out of the classroom.
At this time we are asking all students who have submitted their intent to enroll deposit and have not yet attended the mandatory orientation to please keep an eye on your emails. Information about a make up session will be released in the upcoming weeks. Once the information is available students can register for the session.
First-Year Orientation is a 3 day program. Orientation 101 requires a mandatory overnight stay at Buffalo State during the summer and Orientation 102 a mandatory 1 day program during Bengal Bound on August 23, 2019. All students are required to stay on campus and will be provided a double occupancy room upon check-in during the summer program. Commuters will commute on August 23rd. The orientation requirement and associated charge cannot be waived.
International students will attend a multi-day orientation. For information regarding your orientation program please click here to visit the International Student and Scholar Services office.
