Part time student assistant/work study employee
The building manager position holds the highest level of responsibility for a student employee working in the Campbell Student Union. This position is responsible for coordination of events that are taking place inside the facility, providing excellent customer service for patrons at the Welcome Center, and ensuring the safety of all building users. In addition, the building manager is responsible for the setting up and breaking down of events that take place in the Student Union. Depending upon the shift, the individual will open or close the facility, ensuring that the building is secured upon closing. Weekend shifts occur on a rotating schedule. Part time student assistant student employee only
The Sound Technician works on an event by event basis, operating our large portable sound system during events for campus departments, student organizations, and outside groups. This individual will set up, monitor, and break down the sound system plus any other technical needs, including microphones, projectors, or additional speakers. Prior knowledge of sound equipment is preferred, but not required for the position.
