For the second year at Buffalo State College, the African Diaspora Project hosted by Student Leadership and Engagement returns with the theme, “The Royal Return." The purpose of the program is to bring awareness to the rich history and manner in which Diasporic countries came to be and where they derived from, highlighting a rich legacy of kingdoms, royalty, and an abundance of resources. ADP 2020: The Royal Return, is a month of programming that focuses on global connections but also illustrates ways to utilize resources, showcase rich talents, and actively experience multiculturalism. Furthermore, to commemorate Black History Month, a series of events have been created to cultivate awareness, celebration, inclusion and participation in the Buffalo State community.
The campus community is invited to participate in and attend the events listed below. All events are free and open to the public! For additional information and opportunities to participate, please contact Dr. Ashley C. Goodwin, Assistant Director of Student Leadership and Engagement, at goodwiac@buffalostate.edu.
